2. Information we collect

Account information

Authentication is handled through our authentication provider. DemandHunt does not store your password.

Project information

When you create a project, we may collect information you provide, including:

• Competitors
• Pain points
• Sources you choose to monitor
• Search keywords and tracking inputs
• Filtering preferences

You control what you enter into your project profile.

Public source data

DemandHunt collects and processes public conversations from supported sources, such as X and YouTube. This may include:

• Public post or comment text
• Public URLs or permalinks
• Source name
• Author name or username when publicly available
• Public timestamps
• Public engagement metadata, such as likes, replies, comments, or similar public counts
• Related metadata needed to deduplicate, filter, and analyze results

DemandHunt only uses this public source data to power the product features inside your dashboard, such as raw mentions, candidate mentions, AI-scored mentions, insights, and suggested actions.

Reddit data

If Reddit access is enabled in the future, DemandHunt may process public Reddit posts and comments selected through user-configured projects. This may include public post or comment text, subreddit name, public permalink, timestamp, and public engagement metadata.

DemandHunt does not access private Reddit content, does not post to Reddit, does not vote, does not message Reddit users, and does not automate Reddit engagement.

DemandHunt does not use Reddit data to train foundation models.

AI-generated data

DemandHunt uses AI to help generate and analyze information, including:

• Search strategies
• Candidate scoring
• Insight summaries
• Suggested actions
• Reply drafts
• Project setup suggestions

AI-generated outputs are based on the project information you provide and the public data collected from supported sources.

Billing information

Payments and subscriptions are handled by Stripe.

DemandHunt may store billing-related identifiers such as:

• Stripe customer ID
• Stripe subscription ID
• Subscription status
• Current plan
• Subscription period metadata

DemandHunt does not store your full credit card number.

Email information

DemandHunt uses Resend to send important transactional emails, such as welcome emails, billing confirmations, payment failure notices, and subscription-related messages.

We may store timestamps related to email delivery, such as whether a welcome email has been sent.

Usage and technical information

We may collect basic usage and technical information, including:

DemandHunt uses AI to analyze project details and public conversations. AI may be used to:

DemandHunt does not automatically post AI-generated responses to any platform. Users are responsible for reviewing, editing, and manually posting any reply they choose to use.

5. What DemandHunt does not do

DemandHunt does not:

• Post on your behalf
• Like, vote, repost, comment, or message users on your behalf
• Access private messages from supported platforms
• Sell raw public source data
• Use public Reddit data to train foundation models
• Store full payment card details
• Claim that AI-generated outputs are always accurate

6. How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate DemandHunt, including:

• Authentication providers
• Database and hosting providers
• Payment processors
• Email providers
• AI providers
• Analytics and error monitoring providers

These providers only receive information needed to perform their services.
